Most people know Kristi Rulli as a weekend alternative registered nurse in the Memorial Hospital Childbirth Unit.

But we’re going to let you in on a secret.

Kristi maintains that she is THE BEST and MOST CREATIVE Easter egg hider EVER. Yes, EVER. Her words. All caps, followed by a smiley face.

On Sunday, she helped organize the 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt in CBU. Lauren Rose and Emily Milovich also help coordinate the fun.

“There’s a group of weekend alternative nurses that have been working together on weekends for years. We all work every Easter together, so we decided to add a fun little activity so we have something to look forward to,” Kristi said. “We always include a carry-in, because what is better than yummy food and hiding eggs with your work family? EVERYONE who is working that day is included.”

Everyone who works on Easter brings in 10 to 12 eggs, and then it’s up to Kristi and Emily to hide them.

“We pick an area on the unit that is not filled with patients and try to localize the hunting area. It brings out the kid in ALL of us. It’s a great way to de-stress while working a holiday,” Kristi said.

And it absolutely adds a component of team bonding. And a tighter team makes for a great workplace!

Participating in Sunday’s hunt and shown in the photos are: Carole Blankenbaker, Mary Tuttle, Marianne Davis, Emily Milovich, Marsha Long, Erica Buzalski, April Gabrich, Aleea Wiesjahn, Gypsy Kletka, Wendy Saylor, Lauren Rose and, of course, Kristi Rulli.
