Construction Corner

With more than 45 facilities in three counties, there is usually a construction project of some kind taking place within Beacon Health System. We want to keep you in-the-know about these projects, so look for updates in The Beam. The Elkhart General Surgery Department expansion is in the sixth month of construction, a $74 million state-of-the-art project that includes replacing and updating surgical suites. During summer, delivery and installation of primary mechanical and electrical equipment will begin. Located on the third level of the building, the new equipment will provide service to the new fourth and fifth floors. Did you know you could watch the construction project?
